Gold Coast have expressed interest in luring Collingwood superstar Nick Daicos to Queensland.

The Suns are set for another off-season frenzy, with many clubs in the competition vying for their players, including Ben King, Bailey Humphrey and Jed Walter.

Daicos' manager, Robbie D'Orazio, was recently contacted by the expansion club to gauge any interest away from Victoria, according to AFL Media.

Daicos is contracted until the end of 2029 and was previously floated as a top target for Tasmania, but has since drawn the line through his name to ensure they maintain some draft capital and flexibility when they enter the league.

However, the Devils didn't rule out any play for the midfielder once he comes out of contract.

The report comes shortly after the Pies' father-son gun produced a best-on-ground performance in the narrow six-point win against the Gold Coast.

The Suns have previously shown interest in Daicos, welcoming him to the club in his draft year (2021), touring the facilities.

Gold Coast bid on Daicos with Pick 4 in the draft, but he ultimately opted to join his brother and follow in his father's footsteps to Collingwood.

The interest comes as the Suns attempt to retain free agent King and the contracted Humphrey.

The Pies had interest in the star key forward, but now they have lost the race to Hawthorn, while Gold Coast is confident they can retain him.

Collingwood also met with Humphrey last year, but he is contracted until the end of 2028.

Walter is an interesting prospect and is being chased by Essendon, Geelong and the Hawks, while Collingwood has maintained interest.
