Fringe Lions tall Tom Fullarton has reportedly requested a trade to Melbourne to potentially fill a void in the Demons' ruck and forward stocks.
Melbourne's attacking third has been an area of focus for the Demons following a disappointing end to their season, while Brodie Grundy is set to exit the club after a tough opening year in the red and blue as a supporting ruckman.

Melbourne have officially put a line through trading superstar midfielder Clayton Oliver following several days of speculation that surrounded the two-time AFLCA Champion Player of the Year.
Oliver's name was floated as a potential trade option on Tuesday, with rival clubs reportedly weighing up a move for the Demons ball magnet.
Via a statement released by Melbourne CEO Gary Pert, the Demons have refuted any chance of Oliver finding himself at a new club this off-season with seven years remaining on his current contract.

GWS ruckman Matthew Flynn was the second signing of the day, with his move to West Coast via free agency confirmed on Friday evening.
The Eagles had been linked to the fringe tal along with Melbourne, with the WA club winning out in the race for the 26-year-old's services.
As a result of the move, GWS have secured Pick 40 as compensation.
