If you're looking to have a little play on the nags this weekend, but have no idea what you're doing, or can't be bothered doing hours of extensive form, we've got you covered.

We have gone through the full card at Caulfield and found a few omen picks to fuel that off-season connection to your footy team.

Of course, if you're after a more thorough analysis of the race day, you can head over to zerotipper.com for more detailed horse racing tips.

Caulfield Race 1

3- JUST BENJAMIN: A good one for Dees fans here. Draped in the red and the blue, Just Benjamin is one for the Ben Brown lovers. The tall forward has become a hero in just one season at Melbourne.

10- EAGLES CRAG: An obvious one here. Eagles fans could get their day off to a flyer with the favourite in the first looking very hard to beat.

Caulfield Race 2

4- LADY ADELAIDE: This one is for the Crows fans. Power lovers can jump on too, but there's something for you later in the program. It's been a good off-season for Adelaide with the acquisition of Jordan Dawson, so why not roll that luck into Caulfield Cup day.

Caulfield Race 3

6- CHEERFUL LEGEND: There's only one man this could be a description of, it's Eddie Betts. Now, this is one for the Carlton fans, but Adelaide - and I guess, Geelong fans now - can lay claim to this as well.

Caulfield Race 4

11- DAISIES: Another one that can be split among two fan bases. Dale 'Daisy' Thomas - the only man to play 100 games for both Carlton and Collingwood - will have those who adored him following this one in the fourth. Good price too.

Caulfield Race 5

5- SAINT TROPEZ: All in the name for Saints fans this one. maybe worth a cheeky each-way play if you're keen at $27.

Caulfield Race 6

1- ZOUTORI: Donning the red and the white, Zoutori is a great bet for Swans fans who are looking to get in on the action. Not unlike the Swans too, he's always there or thereabout. Very honest runner.

Caulfield Race 7

1- KAHMA LASS: YELLOW AND BLACK! Need we say more? Tiger fans should be lapping up the silks of last start winner, Kahma Lass.

2- COLETTE: No one is as good in the wet as Colette. She is a genuine level above her competition when it rains, and that same can be said for Collingwood skipper, Scott Pendlebury. The wet makes them better and the way the Godolphin star glides on a wet track is similar to that of basketball star, 'Pendles'.

Caulfield Race 8

Yeah, I got nothing in this one. Can you find something?

Caulfield Race 9 - Caulfield Cup

Caulfield Race 10

6- HE'S A BALTER: Another for the 'Tiger Army,' Noah Balta has become a fan favourite, and what better way to celebrate him than backing this one in the last.

4- BOLD STAR: Bare with us here, Max Gawn is the game's best 'Bald Star'. Now we know this is, in fact, a different word - and they mean different things - but it's an omen bet not a fact-driven bet. And what is big 'Maxy' if not bald and bold?
