Geelong members would have been pleased to find their membership packs in the mail recently, although once they opened it up, they may have noticed a few errors.

21 errors, to be exact.

The Cats sent out a fridge magnet with their 2020 fixture on it, including the date, opponent, venue and bounce times of all of their matches next season.

However, the club only managed to get two weeks correct.

Their round 12 bye, and their round 23 clash with Adelaide, because the date and time are TBC.

The Herald Sun brought to light the Cats' fixture list debacle on Monday, after noticing a Facebook post from a Cats supporter.

All of the dates and times in the fixture are off by a day or two each week, with Round 3 suggesting the Cats play the Dockers in Perth on a Thursday, when in reality they face West Coast at Optus Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Whoops!

Luckily for Cats fans, a spokeswoman for the club confirmed the issue would be rectified.

“The club has looked into the error and the supplier will be producing new items to correct their mistake, and these will be sent to all impacted members this week,” she said.
