Geelong has bolstered its veteran stocks after securing the signatures of premiership-winning trio Gary Rohan, Rhys Stanley and Zach Tuohy for the 2024 season.

Despite working across different lines on the ground, each of Rohan, Stanley and Tuohy share similarities and a bond, with the group of 30-plus-year-olds all joining Geelong from rival clubs and tasting the ultimate success on the same afternoon.

The group's one-year commitments come less than a week after fellow veteran Tom Hawkins signed on for another season, putting to bed any speculation his future lay away from the Pivot City.

In a statement released on Monday evening,  Geelong's GM of Football Andrew Mackie praised the character of the recommitted trifecta, claiming each still had a role to play in the club's quest for an 11th flag.

“Zach, Rhys and Gary are all influential people and players at our football club," Mackie told Cats Media.

"They continue to contribute significantly on-field, and the professionalism and leadership they bring off the field is instrumental to the growth of our younger players and the football program.”

With each of Rohan, Stanley and Tuohy now locked in for next season, only Flynn Kroger, Mitch Hardie, Oscar Murdoch and wantaway defender Esava Ratugolea remain without deals at Kardinia Park.

At present, Ratugolea remains seeking a trade to Port Adelaide for the second successive season.
