Carlton forward Matt Owies is set to make his debut for the club when they face Sydney for their round 16 clash, per afl.com.au' Riley Beveridge.
Owies, a former college and Australian basketball representative is reportedly set to be named in David Teague's side on Tuesday night at Metricon Stadium.
The small forward stands at 179cm and has impressed in Carlton's reserves over the past month, with the 23-year-old getting the nod for this week's clash.
