Carlton coach Michael Voss has downplayed Charlie Curnow's availability amid reports that he remains in doubt for Friday's clash with St Kilda.
Curnow collided with teammate and ruckman Tom De Koning during Wednesday's training session, and was seen limping from the ground.
The two-time Coleman medallist has had an indifferent start to season 2025, missing Round 1 due to an injury-interrupted summer before returning to the senior side.
Voss refused to delve into the situation surrounding Curnow, playing a straight bat and declaring he'll play on Friday night.
"He'll be fine," Voss said on Thursday.
"The last 30 seconds of the drill, him and Tom had a nice little collision, so it's not exactly what you want to see.
"You don't need to know specifics, let's just say he's playing.
"I tried to have a bit of a laugh to fob it off, but holding his knee is incorrect."
The Blues will welcome back swingman Jack Silvagni to the mix after missing last week's loss to Adelaide with a hand injury.
Silvagni's absence was felt last week against Adelaide, as the Crows piled on 16 goals to win by 60 points.
Carlton will attempt to recapture their impressive form that saw them win three consecutive games, including a stirring victory over Geelong in Round 7 at the MCG.
Voss' men were smashed at clearance and contested possession by Adelaide, which is generally a strength of theirs, boasting the likes of Patrick Cripps, George Hewett and Adam Cerra in the midfield.
But the Blues coach doesn't think the club is that far off, bouncing back from a 0-4 start.
"The recent form says we have been going OK, but we let ourselves down last week," Voss said.
"It's just taking the opportunity to reset and reinforce what works well for us."
