Western Bulldogs list manager Sam Power has provided an update on the futures of contracted midfielder Lachie Hunter and free agent Zaine Cordy.
Hunter, who is contracted until the end of 2024, has played just under 150 games for the Dogs and was a part of the Bulldogs' 2016 premiership side.
Speaking to media on Monday, Power stated Hunter is expected to remain at Whitten Oval for 2023.
"Lachie is contracted for another few years and he hasn't requested a trade," Power said.
"We expect him to be at the Bulldogs next year."
Hunter only managed 10 games for the Bulldogs this season after missing the first couple of months due to personal reasons.
Meanwhile, Cordy may explore his options during this year's free agency period.
The Dogs defender remains unsigned for next season as the Dogs plan to secure Liam Jones through free agency.
"We've been in constant dialogue with his management, he's a free agent and he's entitled to look around at what's there." Power told Trade Radio.
"We'll continue to have discussions across the trade period with his management to see where that lands."
Cordy was also apart of the historic Bulldogs premiership winning side in 2016, where he kicked the opening goal of the match.
The versatile big man has played an important part in every Bulldogs season since, however now finds himself a chance to depart the Kennel.
