Brisbane young gun key forward Logan Morris has said he wants to remain a Lion despite multi-million dollar interest from rival clubs.

The 21-year-old has arguably had the best start to a career as a key forward the league has seen since the turn of the century.

Morris has won premierships in his first two seasons in the AFL and is a chance to become the first player since the 1950s to win three flags in their first three seasons.

With Tasmania entering the league in 2028, Morris is one of the Devils' biggest targets with offers of up to $1.5 million per season being floated.

Born and raised in Melbourne's west, Morris has also attracted interest from clubs such as Collingwood, Geelong, Melbourne and Carlton.

Speaking to the Herald Sun, Morris said he was eager to lock away his future at the Lions.

“Yeah, I do. Obviously I just want to focus on playing footy right now and I will make a decision at the end of the year but I am loving playing at the club and hopefully things work out,” he told the publication.

“I am in a good spot, my head is in a good spot. I am happy where I am and I will keep playing footy and that stuff will work itself out.

“My manager (Tim Hazell) will sort it out but as long as I am playing good footy the contract stuff will sort itself out. Probably at the end of the year.”

Morris has kicked an incredible 118 goals from his first 60 games playing as an under-sized key forward at 191cm.

He booted 53 goals last season in the Lions' second consecutive flag triumph.

In 2026, Morris is hunting his first All-Australian blazer and Coleman Medal as he sits on 41 goals, five behind league leader Gold Coast's Ben King.
