Brisbane pushed hard to lure free agent Oscar Allen last year to be the focal point of its attack, but may struggle to get him into the side, which is firing on all cylinders.
The Lions have been scoring at will, and on Sunday, slotted 19 goals against Port Adelaide to push their credentials for a top-two finish further.
The reigning premiers are the highest-scoring team in the competition, and Allen appears surplus to requirements.
“The result of the way we play on offence is that we … get a lot of guys that get a look at goals, we share the scoring around which is great,” Fagan said.
“I'd like to think that we're an equal opportunity offence and therefore hard to stop. We don't rely on any one person, and I thought that was a good example of that today.”
As for Allen, he has spent the past two weeks in the VFL, returning from injury after he featured in the opening seven games of the AFL season for his new club.
The former Eagle kicked two goals in the reserves, but is no certainty to return to the senior side, especially since teammate Will McLachlan has been on a goal-kicking tear, slotting eight majors on the weekend, taking his tally to 27 from eight outings.
“(Allen) was really serviceable in the reserves,” Fagan said.
“Competed well, created opportunities for others and kicked (two goals) himself, so he's done the right thing.”
“It's hard to change a winning side.
“Will has kicked eight, but Kai kicked three today, and Charlie probably kicked three; Cam Rayner probably kicked two or three, so it's a little hard to get in.
“But it's good to have players playing in the reserves that can step up if we need them.”
The return of Eric Hipwood and the form of Logan Morris have catapulted the Lions back into premiership contention, while Charlie Cameron, Kai Lohmann, Zac Bailey and Cam Rayner all average at least a goal a game.
Potentially opening the door for an Allen return is the suspected suspension facing premiership tall Ty Gallop.
After executing a legal tackle on the Port Adelaide spearhead, Gallop then lifts Georgiades by his guernsey and slams him into the turf, with his face appearing to make significant contact with the turf. He's looking at two weeks on the sidelines.
Both Hipwood and Allen have spent time in defence, and while Fagan waits for Darcy Gardiner to be cleared of a hamstring injury, he can trial one of the two alongside Harris Andrews.
