Collingwood have been dealt a major blow ahead of their massive clash with the Tigers this Saturday, with star utility Jordan de Goey is set to miss due to bone stress in his leg.

Pies coach Nathan Buckley confirmed at a press conference today that the 22-year old is unlikely to line up the following week too due to the injury.

“Jordan won’t play on Saturday and unlikely the week after,” Buckley told reporters.

“He’s developed bone stress in the lower leg so we’ve offloaded him since the post-match.

“We’re told it will be two weeks before we can get back and have a look at where that has settled and that he should be right to complete the season as it stands.”
