Essendon skipper Dyson Heppell has been sent for scans on Friday morning due to back tightness.
However, it is not expected to be anything serious, with Heppell expected to line-up against Port Adelaide tomorrow.
The 28-year old had just made a successful return from injury in Round 1, having been restricted to just three games last year.

A bit concerning to see @essendonfc skipper Dyson Heppell in for scans. But he’s told me nothing too serious, but of tightness in his back. Expects to be right for tomorrow’s clash with @PAFC @9NewsMelb

Heppell told reporters on Friday he expects to face Port Adelaide in the Adelaide Oval clash at 4.35 AEDT.
The Bombers will be looking to avenge last week's one-point loss to the Hawks, while Port will be hoping to win their second consecutive game after smashing North Melbourne by 52 points.
