Essendon have announced that Jayden Laverde and Brayden Ham have recommitted to the club for the 2021 season.

Ham, 21, had a decent second season at the club, and will look to build upon the solid signs that he displayed across the ten games he featured in.

The boy from St Joseph's College in Geelong could play a decent role in Ben Rutten's plans for 2021, after a trade period which saw four Bombers leave the club.

Laverde too re-signed for another year, after being drafted at pick 20 in the 2014 National Draft.

The 24-year-old forward has played 46 games for the Bombers, however only featured in six games during 2020.

The Essendon-native managed six goals, averaging 7.67 disposals per game across his shortened season.
