Western Bulldogs great Bob Murphy thinks we will be seeing our 2018 grand finalists play off at the MCG this Saturday.

Richmond have been the premierships favourites all season and the big question has been ‘who else will be there on the last Saturday in September?’

Well, the Bulldogs legend believes it will be Collingwood.

Collingwood are going as well as they have in a long time and currently sit third on the ladder behind Richmond and West Coast.

And Murphy thinks the Pies are good enough to go all the way this year.

“Don’t worry about the final eight, don’t worry about the final couple of rounds, the grand final is set," he told SEN Breakfast.

“This week we get to watch the grand final preview, these two teams will play in the grand final.

"I watched the Pies on the weekend, they are the second best team."

Co-host of the breakfast show and Melbourne legend Garry Lyon, disagrees.

“I couldn’t disagree with you more,” said Lyon.

“This is why I’m happy to go against you. West Coast are going to finish top two I think.

“I don’t think they’re going to be beaten over there, so that means they’re coming to the grand final.

“And even if they do come to the MCG, they did beat Collingwood last week.”
