Are Harry and Ben McKay actually the same person?

Well, according to the Blues' half of the fraternal set, the answer isn't exactly simple.

While official records state that both Ben and Harry McKay were born on December 24, 1997, footy fans with tinfoil hats claim that this may not be the truth.

Though a singular McKay appears about as likely as Ben's Roos claiming this year's flag, the mere fact that he and his identical twin brother have never lined up on one another during their seven seasons in the league has seen the conspiracy theory grow legs.

As it stands, only Harry will feature in the latest Blues-Roos battle scheduled to take place on Saturday night, with Ben suspended for a bump on Geelong's Rhys Stanley during Round 6.

And with that, the plot has officially thickened once again.
