Just as they do every year, fans and pundits alike are already speculating which musician will be playing at the AFL Grand Final and this year there are some big names being thrown around.
The two biggest however are Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift, according to the Herald Sun. The rumors of Bon Jovi all come from a single post on Instagram by brother and tour manager for Jon, Matthew Bon Jovi.
Matthew posted a cryptic image of Kangaroo Jack on Instagram with the caption "Want to runaway with me?"
The speculation of Taylor Swift comes from the fact that she will be touring in Melbourne on the 19th of October, three weeks after the Grand Final.
Unfortunately, amid the rumors fans found out she's playing in Houston, Texas on the night of the Grand Final and therefore probably cannot be in two places at once.
The musical guest must be booked months in advance if they are of international fame, so it shouldn't be that much more of a wait for fans of footy and fans of music to find out who'll be performing on that one day in September.
Fortunately for the talent, the expectations aren't always that high for the AFL decider.
Unlike the Superbowl which showcases extravagant performances by the world's top stars, the AFL's most infamous performance was Meatloaf back in 2011, and it wasn't because he put on the greatest performance of all time.
