Full Back: Michael Hurley (Essendon)

The versatile Hurley was one of the Bombers’ best players on Saturday night in their 44-point win over the Gold Coast. Hurley racked up 24 disposals and also took 10 marks and was superb all night.

Back Pocket: Shannon Hurn (West Coast)

The West Coast skipper was integral in the Eagles ending the Pies' seven game winning streak on Sunday. The big defender finished with 25 disposals and took 11 marks.

Half Back: Jeremy Howe (Collingwood)

The high-flying Pie was one of the Pies' best in a disappointing day on Sunday when the Magpies went down the Eagles by 35 points. Howe finished with 24 disposals and took 11 marks and tried his best all day.

Centre Half Back: Jeremy McGovern (West Coast)

The star defender relished spending more time in the backline with a superb performance in their 35-point win over the Pies on Sunday. McGovern finished with 22 disposals and 12 marks and his intercept marks and spoils were exceptional.

The young Docker played one of his career best games and was a big part in the Dockers' upset nine point win over the Power on Sunday afternoon. Ryan finished with 28 touches at 86% disposal efficiency and took seven marks.
