Popular Western Bulldogs midfielder Adam Treloar has succumbed to yet another soft tissue injury, with his latest calf strain set to sideline him for four to six weeks.
The injury comes at the cruellest possible time for the three-club journeyman, who suffered the injury just days after a stellar outing in the Bulldogs' reserves side.
Treloar amassed 37 disposals in a timely reminder of his prolific and damaging best. It was his first outing since his last AFL game on June 11th.

The former Giant and Magpie has recently spoken of the toll that the baying for his retirement, particularly in the media, takes on him and his family. Determined to make the most of the rest of his contract year, this latest setback places the smiley midfielder behind the eight ball, well and truly.
An All-Australian with 263 games under his belt, premiership success has infamously eluded the Dandenong Stingrays product, although he serendipitously tasted VFL premiership success with Footscray last season.

The Dogs will need to qualify for a Wildcard spot, at the very least, for Treloar to hold any hopes of featuring for the club again before his contract's expiration.
