Melbourne have been heavily backed to claim their second premiership in three years, while as many as six stars of the AFL have been tipped to take out the Brownlow Medal.

The Demons have recorded seven of a possible 10 votes for the flag, with Brisbane earning two nods and Geelong managing the sole tip to make it back-to-back premierships.

With Melbourne's presumed dominance, star midfielder Clayton Oliver has gained the greatest backing to claim his first Brownlow Medal, polling five votes.

Teammate Christian Petracca managed a single vote for the top gong, while Suns gun Touk Miller joins Oliver in being the only player to manage multiple votes for 'Charlie'.

Premiership Cat Jeremy Cameron and Richmond ace Tom Lynch have shared the top votes for the Coleman Medal with three each.

Reigning Coleman Medal winner Charlie Curnow has picked up two votes, while teammate and 2021 winner Harry McKay has earned one vote.

Brisbane youngster Will Ashcroft was one vote shy of being unanimously backed to take out the Rising Star Award in 2023, with Hawk Cam Mackenize earning the other vote.

At the bottom end of the table, Hawthorn are the favourites to take out the wooden spoon, earning 70 per cent of the votes, with North Melbourne (two votes) and West Coast also expected to be among the lower end of the ladder.

Below we name our premiers, top eight, wooden spooners, Brownlow winners, Coleman medallists, Rising Star recipients, All-Australian smokeys and more for 2023...
