The Gold Coast Suns were handed over $24 million from the AFL in 2017, more than double at least six other AFL clubs.
The Suns have been in some financial trouble recently and were bailed out by the League, as they received $24.16 million last year, according to the Herald Sun.
The other expansion club in GWS were handed the next biggest amount, receiving $22.59 million, with Brisbane (20.01 million) the only other club to receive more than $20 million.
St Kilda were the highest Victorian club on the list, as they were given $19.44 million in 2017.
At the other end of the table, Collingwood and West Coast were given the least amount of money, receiving just $10.61 million each.
Richmond were handed $12.36 million, with $3.62 milllion of that coming from winning the premiership.
The AFL stated 11 of the 18 league clubs recorded a profit in 2017, compared to just seven clubs who did so the season prior.
