The AFL Players' Association are naming their top 50 players leading into the 2016 season, voted by the players themselves. Today they have revealed 40-31.

Adelaide goal sneak Eddie Betts has been voted into the top 50 for the first time in her career, while Brisbane's Tom Rockcliff dropped from 19th spot last year to 39th this year.

Bulldog Jake Stringer also earned a spot on the list thanks to a breakout season, while Taylor Walker's impressive first season as skipper at the Crows earned him 38th spot.
