Geelong and Gold Coast have been linked to out-of-contract Hawk Oliver Hanrahan.

As reported by Fox Sports' David Zita, the Cats and Suns have previously "asked the question" in regards to the 22-year-old's situation at Hawthorn.

Hanrahan has shown promising glimpses across this 26 career matches in the brown and gold, booting 16 goals since making his debut in 2019.

The small forward has played just the 10 matches under Alastair Clarkson this season, including multiple stints as the medical sub.

Hanrahan remains unsigned at the Hawks past this year and could find greater opportunities elsewhere, particularly with the Suns.

Gold Coast are likely heading for another busy off-season as they continue their chase for a maiden top-eight finish.

The Suns are preparing to offer their first-round draft pick to rival clubs in hope of landing ready-made talent.

The Cats are also tipped to be major players in the upcoming exchange period, however their priority movements will likely be in-house dealings to retain key players.

Geelong have recently secured the services of several senior figures, but remain to have a number of out-of-contract players to deal with.
