Richmond pair Mabior Chol and Callum Coleman-Jones are being targeted by the Gold Coast Suns as the Suns look to bolster their forward stocks.

Chol and Coleman-Jones are currently waiting behind Tom Lynch and Jack Riewoldt for regular senior opportunities and could be tempted by the offer of more senior football elsewhere.

Foxfooty.com.au'sย Tom Morris has reported that the Suns are keeping a close eye on the duo, with both of them out of contract.

Chol is a free agent meaning he has a little bit more freedom in choosing where his future lies. There is no doubt clubs would be willing to bid attractively for the smooth-moving big man.

โ€œMake no mistake, Gold Coast would be prepared to offer multi-year deals for Callum Coleman-Jones and Mabior Chol, he said on AFL Tonight.

โ€œTheyโ€˜re desperate for a key forward to partner Ben King, who we know is out of contract at the end of next year.

โ€œChol is a free agent and as a result he can pick where he wants to go. Thereโ€™ll be a deal on the table for him at the Tigers but heโ€™s likely to get more years elsewhere."

Morris believes the Tigers would be more willing to let Chol leave Punt Road but would be keen to keep both if possible. Riewoldt is closing in on the end of his career and both could slot in as a replacement for the three-time premiership star.

Despite a poor year where the Tigers missed the finals, they are very much still in their premiership window and will again turn to experience to take them to the top of the mountain again.

With Toby Nankervis having the ruck position sewn up it seems near impossible for the Tigers to keep both Coleman-Jones and Chol given they probably won't be able to play all of Lynch, Riewoldt, Nankervis, Chol and Coleman-Jones.
