The Sydney Swans are the latest team to be linked to out-of-contract Docker Griffin Logue as interest in his services increases, per reports from the Herald Sun.

Logue, who has played 59 matches since making his debut in 2017, has been linked to a potential move east, with the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood presenting as suitors despite the key defender's rising price tag.

Reports earlier in the week suggested that Fremantle could see a number of players heading for the exit doors as they try to make way for the in-demand Luke Jackson, who has been linked to a move back home to his home state.

Logue could be joined by Blake Acres, Connor Blakely and Rory Lobb on the departures list, with the 24-year-old now having put contract talks on hold with the Dockers.

The key defender has struggled to lock down a spot in Justin Longmuir's team, finding himself playing forward at times this year, with the Swans now reportedly keen to add him into their defensive mix.

The McCartin brothers have proved to be a formidable pairing so far this year in the Swans' defensive half, while veteran Dane Rampe is heading into the twilight of his career.

The Herald Sun has reported that both the Bulldogs and Collingwood likely won't have the funds to bring the in-demand swingman to Victoria, leaving Sydney in the box seat for his services should he choose to depart Fremantle.
