It was another frantic week in the AFL trade circles, with more clubs officially entering their off-season and are beginning to re-shape their lists for 2022.

The Tigers, Cats and Magpies were among the mix of clubs linked to rival players in the past week in what has been a busy period of trade and free agency news and rumours.

King proposes radical Magpies-Giants trade

North Melbourne great David King has proposed a hypothetical trade that could fast-track Collingwood’s forthcoming rebuild as they may be able to pry pick two back from the Giants.

The proposed deal outlined that the Pies could move on from star mid/forward Jordan De Goey and in turn nab back the first-round pick that they traded to GWS in infamous fashion last off-season.
