Adelaide have been named as one of the multiple clubs in the race for Dawson's signature as the Crows hope to acquire experienced and profiled names to West Lakes as they continue to rebuild.

A Sturt product, Dawson could be tempted by a return to his home state as he weighs up his future in the league.

Dawson made his Swans debut in Round 3, 2017 - which was his only game for the season. The silky ball-mover is now set to play his 50th game this weekend when Sydney host Collingwood at the SCG.

Having been run through the midfield and forward line in prior years, Dawson has cemented his place in John Longmire's defensive structure and is touted as one of the best ball-users in the competition.
