Gold Coast Suns midfielder Will Brodie has sparked big interest from the Fremantle Dockers.

Fox Footy's Tom Morris reports that the 23-year-old will "almost certainly" join Fremantle as a delisted free agent, particularly due to the midfielder having one year remaining on his current contract.

However, the two clubs could look to find an agreement where Brodie is delisted by the Suns and picked up by Fremantle this off-season.

With the Dockers set to lose midfielder Adam Cerra to Carlton, Brodie may find more playing opportunities in the west.

Despite playing just five senior AFL games in the last two seasons, the tall onballer is a strongly built young midfielder that has shown signs of a capable career at AFL level.

The former No.9 pick first debuted back in 2017, playing just 25 games for the Suns throughout his short career.
