1. Richmond (+2)

Richmond are on top of the AFL ladder at the end of a round for the first time since 1995, and moved to 4-1 on the season with relative ease against an up-and-down Melbourne outfit on Tuesday night.

2. Adelaide (+3)

Very impressive win against the Swans on Friday night. They were missing Rory Sloane and the Crouch brothers in the midfield and they still managed to get across the line. Tex Walker was instrumental in the win.

3. GWS (-1)

Managed to draw against the Saints on Saturday in a very entertaining finish to the game. Probably very lucky to get away with the draw in the end after Jake Carlisle wasn't payed a free kick on the siren.

4. Sydney (-3)

After impressing last week, the Swans came crashing back to earth against an impressive Adelaide outfit. In a game that the Swans were widely tipped to win, Sydney were really disappointing in front of their home crowd.

5. Geelong (+2)

With Tom Hawkins a late out, Geelong looked up against it against the Power. Hawkins' replacement George Horlin-Smith took his chance with both hands and was one of Geelong's best, while Patrick Dangerfield played as a permanent full forward and looked dangerous all night.

6. Hawthorn (-2)

After dismantling Melbourne last Sunday, the Hawks were the polar opposite against the Kangaroos. Taking nothing away for the Roos, but the Hawks didn't look the side they have been in the first four games of the season.

7. Port Adelaide (-1)

Have we over estimated the Power? They were again disappointing for the third week in a row, after a massive win against the Swans in round two.

8. West Coast (+1)

Came up against a young Blues side at the MCG, a ground they usually don't fare well at, but the Eagles managed to find a way against a defiant Carlton. Andrew Gaff starred with 31 disposals and two goals while Willie Rioli looked dangerous with every touch.

9. Collingwood (+1)

The Pies pulled away in the second half and recorded their third straight win, as they beat Essendon by 49 points in a one-sided affair on ANZAC Day.

10. Melbourne (-2)

The Demons started strongly but just couldn't match it with the reigning premiers, and now have a massive match up with Essendon looming on Sunday.

11. Essendon (-1)

Essendon lost Josh Begley and Josh Green early and never recovered, as they struggled to keep up with Collingwood's pace in the second half. A crunch match with the Dees on Sunday awaits.

12. Fremantle (-)

Nat Fyfe looks back to his best with a crazy 43 disposal, one goal and 13 clearance outing. Michael Walters was equally impressive with 5.1, as the Dockers smashed the Bulldogs on Saturday night.

13. Gold Coast (+1)

In the closest Q-Clash in its short history, the Suns got the chocolates in a very entertaining encounter. After a tough two weeks in Perth, the Suns bounced back with a much needed win. Brayden Fiorini had a day out with 27 disposals and two goals.

14. North Melbourne (+1)

Have we got it wrong with North Melbourne this season? They have been very competitive and just knocked off an impressive Hawks side. Jack Ziebell was tremendous, while Ben Brown is really showing his worth already this season.

15. Western Bulldogs (-2)

Again disappointing over in Perth this week. Against a similar side in terms of quality, the Bulldogs were very disappointing. Luke Dahlhaus and Marcus Bontempelli were very quiet while young ruckman Tim English was taught a ruck lesson against Aaron Sandilands.

16. Brisbane Lions (-)

Brisbane showed better signs this week, after a dismal display against the Tigers the week prior. They had the chance to draw the game had Cameron Rayner slotted that goal, but it wasn't meant to be. Very encouraging signs nonetheless.

17. St. Kilda (-)

Drew against the Giants, in tremendous effort. They look to be playing better footy, but fundamental errors keep letting them down. Jake Carlisle should have marked to have a shot on the siren, while their goal kicking accuracy is still below par.

18. Carlton (-)

Very hearty display for the Blues this week without some of their stars. They need to start turning these displays into wins, but that will come. Experiencing their worst start to a season since 1989 which is worrying.
