AFL great Malcolm Blight has predicted the two teams who will face off in the 2020 Grand Final.

Blight believes Collingwood and Richmond will play off in the biggest match of the year - the two teams will kick off the season's resumption on Thursday night.

Speaking on SEN Whateley, Blight believes the winner will be premiership favourites.

"I've done my predictions as we all seem to do in the media now... this is the hardest part of footy I reckon, trying to predict," Blight told SEN Whateley.

"Guess who I've got in the Grand Final in this 77 per cent season?

"I've got Collingwood and Richmond playing odd in the Grand Final in my predicitions.

"Tonight's [winner] will probably be [premiership] favourite and rightly so... however, I've still got them [playing in the Grand Final].

"It's going to be a great game."

The Magpies were close to facing off against Richmond in last year's decider, but GWS held on in a thrilling Preliminary Final.
