This month's No.1 ranking changed hands for the second time in as many months, with Port Adelaide-tied talent Dougie Cochrane returning to pole position after Carlton father-son Cody Walker rose to first overall.
For July, Walker has slid to third, with Northern Knights ruckman Harry Van Hattum rising into the top two for the first time this year.
The three-horse race for Pick 1 has now extended to four contenders, with Van Hattum's Vic Metro teammate Arki Butler now firmly in the mix.
"For the second month in a row we've had a change to the No.1 spot," Craft of the Draft host Mitch Keating said on this week's podcast.
"It is looking very tight between Cochrane, Van Hattum and Walker. We've seen that over the last set of rankings, with Walker recently going to No.1 (for June) and now dropping back to third, and Harry, for the first time this year, is in the top two.
"You wouldn't say far behind, you'd say with them, is Arki Butler in fourth."
Butler has been one of the premier performers at the U18s National Championships to date, with his front-half impact as an X-factor forward who can roll through midfield making him a tantalising prospect for AFL clubs.
Speaking on the Sandringham Dragons ace, Craft of the Draft analyst Jonty Ralphsmith said Butler's form has created a clear "top four" at the pointy end of the draft.
"I would now view Arki Butler as a bona fide member of the top four," Ralphsmith said.
"It's no longer a top three and then Arki Butler in that next rung. It's a top four, and Arki Butler was considered for that third spot.
"Every time he takes to the field, there's that star factor about him. He can do it through the midfield, he can do it up forward. Wherever he's playing, he's impacting.
"I think he's mounting a very strong case to be right at the pointy end."
