A powerful small forward who can impact through the midfield, Gippslander Keenan Boi has been a steady riser through 2026.

After training with Hawthorn through pre-season and learning off the likes of Nick Watson, and having grown up idolising Cyril Rioli, he set a high benchmark for himself in the Talent League for Gippsland and also shone in three games for Vic Country.

The sort of player who makes things happen when he gets the footy, Boi is a nightmare matchup given his nous to put himself in dangerous positions, desire to have the footy in big moments, and ability to capitalise when the footy comes his way.

There has also been a significant uptick in his pressure this year, which has shot him into top 30 contention.

He can bust through tackles and has a knack for keeping his feet in the contest, with Boi one of Gippsland's best in its triumphant finals series.

Boi also got senior footy exposure for Warragul this year, with his breakthrough year following a pre-season learning off 2025 Gippsland Power captain and now Melbourne Demon Tom Matthews.

He hails from Lowanna College, which has become a footy factory in recent years, producing Jacob Konstanty, Bailey Humphrey, Matthews and Alix Tauru, among others.

The next step for Boi is adding a greater aerobic base to allow him to get up the field and burn opponents.

He's tied to the Hawks Academy given his Indigenous and Mauritian heritage.
