An outside midfielder with X-Factor and speed, Eastern Ranges wingman Caleb Windsor is an enticing draft prospect that clubs with early draft selections will be considering.

The Lysterfield junior has emerged as a potential top 10 selection at the November 20-21 draft after a strong Talent League campaign with the Ranges and a formidable National Championships for Vic Metro, where he looked comfortable at the next level.

Windsor firms as one of the leading outside ball winners among the class of 2023, with his football smarts, pace and efficient disposal use among the many leading traits he possesses.

As part of the Eastern Ranges side that managed to secure a grand final finish this year, Windsor was arguably the club's most damaging midfielder given his constant running and ability to impact the scoreboard.

His best outing would come against the Brisbane Lions Academy, where Windsor recorded 31 disposals, 16 marks, seven inside 50s and five tackles early into his draft season - a campaign that would end with a dominant run home to include at least one goal in all of his last eight appearances for 2023.

Windsor would complement a strong Vic Metro engine room across his quartet of appearances at this year's carnival, working on the outside of emerging onballers Levi Ashcroft, Jagga Smith and Josh Smillie as an outlet option that could break away from the huddle and have an impact in the front third of the field

With his attacking nous, running capacity and ability to move the ball cleanly by foot or hands, Windsor looks likely to be among the first 15 players selected at this year's National Draft.

A club looking to add a player with some outside polish and damage, much like Brisbane's Hugh McClugagge or Essendon's Nic Martin, will have some level of interest in Windsor's services.

Geelong, who currently enter the draft at Pick 8, could be among those eyeing the 184cm wingman, while Adelaide (Pick 10) and Melbourne (Pick 11) could also be in the frame to call Windsor's name.
