The brother of a rising Hawthorn forward starred in South Australia's second game of the Under-16s Development Championships.
Harrison Schubert, the younger brother of Aidan, kicked 4.1 from 13 disposals in South Australia's 23-point win over Vic Country on Tuesday at People's First Stadium, Gold Coast.
He is viewed as one of South Australia's leading prospects two years out from the 2028 intake, with his aerial ability and endurance among his key attributes.
It follows two goals and four marks from seven disposals in South Australia's 12-point loss to Western Australia last month to kick off the championships.
Aidan rose sharply in his draft year in 2025, taken at Pick 23 in last year's national intake and recently signed a two-year extension, tying him to the Dingley-based club until at least 2029.
Strong marking GWV Rebels forward Chase Whelan kicked 2.3 and took eight marks in a strong performance for Vic Country in the loss, and is viewed among the best talents from Victoria for the 2028 intake. It follows a best afield performance against Vic Metro on King's Birthday to open the Under-16s Development Championships.
Most of the carnival is taking place this week on Gold Coast, with recruiters and player agents converging to get a close look at the best 2028 prospects.
