Following Richmond's 51-point win over Geelong at the MCG on Friday night, the hosts of both preliminary finals have been decided, meaning the AFL have released the dates and venues for the remaining finals matches.
With the Tigers set to enjoy the week off, Geelong will host either Sydney or Essendon at the MCG next Friday night, while GWS will host the winner of Saturday's Port Adelaide and West Coast clash in seven days' time.
Given Adelaide won their qualifying final and finished in first position on the ladder, their preliminary final will be on the Friday night, while Richmond will host their opponents at the MCG on a Saturday.
The time for the Tigers' clash is still unknown, and given they'll host an interstate side, it may well be a twilight fixture to allow for the visitors to head back home straight after the match.
