Adelaide forward-midfielder Zac Taylor will be pushing his case to be recalled for Saturday's semi-final against Brisbane.
Taylor missed last week's win over the Western Bulldogs with a hamstring injury he sustained in Round 24.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a breakout season, playing 21 matches throughout the year as a key component of the club's front-half game.
“We know hamstring strains like Zac's are always around the three week mark,” Crows GM High Performance Ian McKeown said.
“It was fortunate to have the pre-finals bye and for Zac to get the additional week off away from footy alongside the team.
“What's important now is the week ahead and how his body responds at training.”
Veteran Callum Ah Chee replaced Taylor in the elimination final. The former Lion was quiet, amassing seven touches, three tackles and a goal in 75 per cent game time.
Ah Chee is tipped to line up against Brisbane, a club he won two premierships with.
Midfielder James Peatling has been ruled out of returning from his hip/groin issue, needing another week of recover.
“It's still too soon for JP unfortunately,” McKeown said.
“We'll continue to monitor his progress with a hope of featuring again this year, pending finals results.”
The same goes for small forward Luke Pedlar, who is recovering from a hamstring injury.
