The Lions got their man in Dockers star Lachie Neale and were mere minutes away from boasting potentially the best midfield in the entire competition, before allowing Dayne Beams to head back to Collingwood in the dying minutes of the trade period. Experienced players such as Lincoln McCarthy and Marcus Adams will help the depth of the team as they look to surge up the ladder.
