The skippers have had their say in the annual captain's survey, with new Geelong recruit Patrick Dangerfield tipped to win his first Brownlow Medal, while Josh Kennedy has been backed to win the Coleman Medal for a second consecutive year.
Gary Ablett, Nat Fyfe and Dan Hennebery all came in equal second in the Brownlow voting on three votes.
Meanwhile, 12 clubs were nominated as a chance to make the top eight, with Hawthorn, Geelong, West Coast and Fremantle all receiving 17 votes, after each captain asked which seven teams other than their own could make the finals this season.
Despite many experts predicting the Magpies to have a good season, Collingwood only received three votes to make the finals.
Sydney academy draftee Callum Mills was voted as the player most likely to take home this year' rising star award, with seven votes.
