Reef McInnes will miss the remainder of 2022 after the 19-year-old dislocated his shoulder in Sunday's win over Hawthorn.

McInnes hurt the shoulder in the third quarter when he attacked a contest rather agriculturally and collected Dylan Moore with his arm which resulted in the dislodged shoulder.

McInnes was immediately subbed out of the game with the young Pie in clear pain.

Collingwood confirmed on Tuesday that he will undergo a shoulder reconstruction later this week.

The number 23 in the 2020 draft has played six games kicking three goals so far in his career.
