AFL field umpire Simon Meredith will umpire his 10th grand final this Saturday at the MCG, and will be joined by Andrew Stephens, Hayden Meyer and Jacob Mollison.
The 2025 AFL Grand Final will be contested between the Geelong Cats and Brisbane Lions.
Meredith has umpired 527 AFL matches (according to AFLTables), 54 finals, and nine grand finals, including the past three, and his first was the 2012 classic between Sydney and Hawthorn.
He began his umpiring career in 2004.
Stephens has been rewarded with his first grand final after 12 seasons. He began umpiring in 2014 and has participated in six of the past seven finals series. He has finally made the jump to the final four after being an emergency in the last two deciders.
Mollison and Meyer will be donning the yellow outfit for the Cats and Lions clash. The latter will be recalled from the 2023 epic between Collingwood and Brisbane, while Mollison was a part of Melbourne's drought-breaking win over the Western Bulldogs in Perth.
Nick Foot has been named the emergency umpire.
Surprisingly, Matt Stevic has been left out of the 2025 AFL Grand Final, despite umpiring 12 of the past 13 deciders.
Stevic has umpired the most finals (63) of any recorded adjudicator (according to AFLTables), and sits third for most games (517) behind Brett Rosebury (559) and Meredith (527).
Matthew Konetschka (seventh GF), Michael Barlow (fourth), Daniel Field-Read (second) and Damian Main (debut) are named as the boundary umpires. Ian Burrows will be the emergency.
Goal umpires Adam Wojcik and Matthew Dervan will officiate their sixth and fourth AFL Grand Finals, respectively, with Sam Walsh as the emergency umpire.
