Fletcher battles illness
Jaspa Fletcher became a three-time premiership player as a 22-year-old on Saturday and one of eight Lions to have also played in the 2023 heartbreak.
But he revealed on ABC after the victory his preparation for the week was far from optimal.
"I was crook as a dog," he said.
"Credit to the doctors who got me up for this game. I was sitting in bed sweating, I had a 45-minute shower at one stage because I was cooked...I was pretty confident (I'd play). 'Fages' and Danny (Daly) backed me in and I knew if I was going to put my hand up to play I would give 100 per cent of what I got so I was glad to be part of it."
