The Hawks are at the start of a proper rebuild for the first time in over a decade. They have often looked to top-up their list with ready-made talent and avoided the draft like the plague.
But no longer is the business plan tenable for the Hawks, they need games into kids and they need them yesterday. We saw glimpses of the neophytes at Hawthorn's disposal throughout 2020 but now it's surely time see just about everything they have.
