Carlton have confirmed that key defender Jacob Weitering will be available for selection for Sunday's match against the Eagles in Perth.

Weitering hasn't featured for the Blues since Round 11 due to a AC joint injury, with the 24-year-old recovering sooner than expected to be in line for selection this week.

Sam Durdin, who has been sidelined since his debut match in Round 14 with a knee injury, is also available for selection down at Ikon Park, alongside Matt Owies and Lachie Fogarty.

Veteran Ed Curnow is also in line to feature in his first game of the season as he aims for a return from an ongoing calf injury. The 32-year-old could offer valuable experience for the Blues as they continue to prepare for a finals campaign.

Carlton also confirmed that Jack Martin was facing a fitness test, but was a chance to feature in the Sunday afternoon clash, while Marc Pittonet has been ruled out of an immediate return but is expected to feature in 1-2 weeks.

The Blues have been ravaged on the injury front so far in 2022, but look to be on the mend heading towards the finals, though Caleb Marchbank (knee), Oscar McDonald (back) and Zac Williams (calf) are among those still occupying the injury list.
