Cats forward Tom Hawkins could come under scrutiny from the MRO for striking Sydney’s Jordan Dawson in Saturday’s clash.

Hawkins elbowed Dawson in the head as he was running back with the flight of the ball, resulting in a 50 meter penalty.

No report was laid by the umpire and Dawson played out the game.

Currently two games clear on the top of the ladder, Geelong face Richmond next Friday night in a blockbuster clash at the MCG.
