Collingwood players have sat and watched the conclusion to their dramatic win over Essendon from last Sunday evening as a group as belief continues to grow among the black and white.
Coach Craig McRae revealed that he and his team took the time to enjoy and savour the special win after they trailed by as much as 20-points in the final term.
McRae said while he wants his culture around the AIA Centre to remain the same whether the team wins or loses, he wanted to make sure such a special moment was celebrated.
"We step into our building and you wouldn't know if we won or lost," McRae said.
"That's the reality of what we are trying to create.
"We watched the last couple of minutes as a group and reflected on it and celebrated it. (We) lived in the moment for what it was, it was a pretty special moment."
Nine wins in a row have Pies fans dreaming of what can be and McRae wasn't about to hose down the heights of belief building inside the four walls.
McRae said his team are always growing and gaining trust in what they are trying to build with their recent run of victories going a long way to helping nurture that surge in confidence.
"There's a belief in the group, there's no doubting that," McRae said.
"There's a belief in the way we are preparing and in any situation we face we're able to find a way to get over the line.
"Winning has a DNA and fingerprints all over it. There's certain elements and one of those is preparing to be successful every day, not just on weekends and creating those habits around what winners look like."
"We've been doing this for five or six months and there's some of that (DNA) there.
Collingwood will aim to make it ten wins in a row as they take on Port Adelaide at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.
