Carlton star goalkicker Harry McKay, Essendon stopper Jordan Ridley and Gold Coast Suns rising star Mac Andrew have been sighted showing off their basketball moves during the peak of the AFL off-season.

McKay, who kicked 45 goals in 2022, following up his extraordinary 2021 season during which he dobbed a whopping 58 majors, soared for a few high-flying jams and showed off his outside game, knocking down a couple of three-pointers.

Meanwhile, Ridley, who looked nimble driving to the basket, played 20 games for the Bombers in 2022, averaging 19.1 disposals and 6.3 marks per game while leading Essendon's defence.

His teammate in Kaide Balwin was also caught in the pick-up game, offering some tight defence.

Andrew, who was a first-round draftee in 2021 and played four games in his debut season, showcased the stellar athleticism we saw in a limited sample in 2022.

Footage captured by Baseline Footy showed the AFL trio taking part in a scrimmage on the hardwood, even reaching the rim to show off their dunking ability.

AFL players are expected to return to pre-season training next month, with Andrew to be part of the first wave of returning squad members in being among the first-to-fourth-year players.

The likes of Ridley and McKay are anticipated to return in early December.
