Richmond coach Damien Hardwick has been involved in an altercation with an Adelaide fan following the Tigers' 36-point loss to the Crows on Thursday night.

Hardwick was walking down the race following the full-time siren before stopping in his tracks and turning towards the man.

The Richmond coach was pointing at the spectator and seemed to have a few words for the fan, before continuing down the race and onto the ground.
