Melbourne have adopted the ‘fugazi’ mantra from the popular 2013 blockbuster film Wolf of Wall Street.

Simon Goodwin did his best Matthew McConaughey impression, following his side’s 49-point win over the Western Bulldogs on Saturday.

“Fugazi. It’s a whazy. It’s a woozie…” a jovenile Goodwin told reporters.

The Demons coach explained how the club was blocking the outside noise surrounding their impressive first half of 2018, which has them entrenched in the top four.

“There is a lot of noise out there and I think it is great for our supporters what they are starting to see but internally it’s fugazi, which means it’s noise,” Goodwin said.
