Melbourne midfielder Clayton Oliver has had a heated run-in with a Carlton fan early through the second quarter of Sunday match at the MCG.
Oliver was chasing a ball over the boundary line before a Blues fan stood up and said something to Oliver, which prompted the young Demon to turn around and walk towards him.
The 19-year-old walked right up to the fence and said something back to the fan, who seemed to have been surprised by Oliver's comments.

It's the first such incident since St Kilda forward Nick Riewoldt had a meeting with a Western Bulldogs fan last season, in an exchange that saw the fan place his hand on Riewoldt's shoulder.
The former captain said he didn't expect the fan to make contact with him, and said it shouldn't become a regular occurrence.
"I just didn't expect to get touched. It caught me by surprise," Riewoldt told Channel Seven in July last year.
"I don't think there was anything malicious or necessarily wrong with what occurred (but) I just don't think we want it to become common that players and fans are touching each other."
