Another score review howler has marred the third quarter of Richmond's clash with St Kilda at the MCG.

Tigers foward Jack Higgins wheeled around and had a shot from beyond 50, and it looked to have just crossed the line, which would have given the Tigers a 13-point lead during a crucial stage of the game.

However, Saints ruckman Tom Hickey seemed to touch the ball on viewing from the first camera angle, and the commentators all agreed it was close, and needed a second look.

From the camera angle on the opposite post, it looked as though Hickey was a little late to the ball, and there seemed to be clear daylight between the ball and the goal line before Hickey got his hands to it.

Although, when the call appeared on the scoreboard as a behind, all commentators seemed perplexed by the decision, and Damien Hardwick was visibly angered by the call.

The Saints went on to kick the next four goals and change the momentum of the game, before the Tigers steadied to re-gain the lead.
