Adelaide veteran Taylor Walker has confirmed he will make a return to the AFL this Thursday Night against the Cats after being absent with a hamstring injury since Round 8 while Hugo Hall-Kahan will make his debut.

Hall-Kahan joined the Crows last week via the mid-season draft, and has impressed already, earning himself a debut against Geelong.

The 22-Year-old will likely join Walker, who returned in the SANFL before the bye a fortnight ago, kicking five goals.

"Nicksy said last night if I get through the main session, then he'd pick me," he confirmed on Triple M.

Crows coach Matthew Nicks said he was impressed with Walker's response to returning to the reserves side.

"To his credit, he led extraordinarily well," Nicks said before Monday training.

"It's amazing when we get reports back from our young players on things they experience, and how they talk about his leadership, you know, on field, even leading into the game."

Walker also confirmed key players Mitch Hinge and Callum Ah Chee will put their hands up for selection in a massive boost against the Cats.

Ah Chee suffered a thumb injury in their last game against the Hawks. Walker said, "He's good, trained really well last night, really well."

Mitch Hinge, who has only played one game this season, looks to return from an ankle injury. "He trained well as well, I think he's available for selection."

The Crows will be without star Riley Thilthorpe due to suspension, and Isaac Cumming, who suffered a hamstring injury in Round 10 and seemed to have had a setback at training.

Adelaide sits precariously in eighth position after claiming six wins in 11 starts.

A tough three-week stretch, starting with Geelong before games against the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne before a fortnight of winnable clashes with Port Adelaide and West Coast will set up the Crows' season.
